Attractions and Things to Do in Weymouth

There’s a fun day out to be had in Weymouth – come rain or shine!

Whether you’re coming to visit us for a day, a long weekend or even longer, there are plenty of fun activities and attractions to keep you busy here in Weymouth.

During the Summer peak season the beaches are always a lively place to explore with Punch and Judy shows, donkey rides and ice cream vans selling their wares. The more adventurous amongst you might try your hand at some water sports, whilst others might prefer to simply hire a deck chair and soak in the glorious sights of ‘England’s Naples’.

If you happen to be visiting us during the low season you’ll find that the beach is a little quieter, but this also means that your room rates are likely to be much lower too! Most of Weymouth’s best restaurants stay open throughout Winter and, despite the chilly breeze, there are a variety of walks that both young and old can enjoy along the seafront and out to the Isle of Portland. Should the rain pour then your holiday won’t be a washout, as there are a number of excellent indoor activities that should still put a smile on your face.
